Meet Kirby & Kerplunk! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Kirby and Kerplunk, a bonded pair of rabbits available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Kirby (a three-and-a-half year-old eight-pound lop mix) was originally brought in from a shelter when he wasn’t feeling so well, but after getting some amazing TLC from the IHRS volunteers, his huge personality has come out to shine! He was previously adopted, but was returned to the rescue and then became bonded to his lovely bunwife, Kerplunk. Kerplunk (a six year-old seven-pound mix) is much more shy than her husbun and will need a patient and loving home that is willing to let her come out of her shell. These are two big bunnies and will need plenty of space to live comfortably and explore, but two bunnies are easier than one, in my honest opinion (being a bun mom myself!). Two bunnies are twice as fun and twice as cute, so don’t you want to add some adorable bunny love in your life? If you want Kirby and Kerplunk to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Their adoption fee is $110 (which helps cover their neuter and spay surgeries) and they’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and their veterinary history.

Kirby & Kerplunk are …
– a bonded pair that MUST be adopted together!
– very different in personality (Kirby is more outgoing and adventurous while Kerplunk is much more shy and reserved), but both very sweet.
– big buns that will need the appropriate living and exploring space!
– litter-box trained.
– neutered and spayed, respectively.

*I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website! Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
