Meet Cinnamon, a shy two year-old female Shar-Pei mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Cinnamon was surrendered with five other canine companions the second week of July and was in rough shape due to being left alone for an extended period of time. While the other five dogs were lucky enough to be chosen for the Vet Tech program, Cinnamon was so incredibly shy and growled at strangers that she was left at the shelter for the time being. As you can see from her photo, she has really blossomed under the love and care of the shelter staff and adores being on the receiving end of cuddles! Cinnamon is good with other dogs, but best in a calm home with older children where she can continue to come out of her shell. Does your home need some sugar and spice and all things nice? Her adoption fee of $95 covers her spay surgery, rabies/booster vaccination, Home Again microchip and registration and flea preventative.
