Meet Jake, a playful three year-old hound mix available for adoption through the ARK Fostercare Program! Jake was rescued from a high-kill shelter and had evidently never received any vaccinations because he tested positive for parvo. He was treated and is healthy now, enjoying his play time in the yard with other doggy friends! In his current foster home there are no children (and because of COVID there have not been any adoption events where he has been exposed to children), but he has a happy personality and is definitely worth a second (or third!) look. The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $250, which includes their spay/neuter, microchipping, all necessary vaccinations, worming and any additional treatments (including heartworm, if necessary) and one month of pet insurance.
