Meet Jima, a shy domestic medium hair cat available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Jima was brought in by a a Good Samaritan and it was obvious from her rough shape that this sweet girl had been out in the elements and fending for herself for quite awhile. With no ID or microchip, Jima is in search of her very own loving, forever home where she can be a pampered girl and enjoy the luxuries of indoor life! Jima is definitely on the shy and quiet side and would benefit from a patient forever home, but is great with children and other cats and faithfully uses her litter-box … what’s stopping you from making this pretty girl a part of your family? Jima’s adoption fee of $50 covers her spay surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations and wormer. Want double the fun? If you adopt Jima you can adopt another kitty for FREE! Anyone interested in Jima, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if there are other pets in the home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Jima home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyville.com or call at (317) 392-5127.
