Meet Gunner, an easygoing four-and-a-half year-old Labrador/Hound mix available for adoption through the ARK Fostercare Program! Gunner and his littermates were pulled from a high-kill shelter and thought he’d found his forever home when he was adopted as a puppy. Life changed when his owners had a baby and felt that they couldn’t handle a child’s high activity level AND two dogs, so poor Gunner was the unlucky one chosen to be surrendered. Gunner tends to go with the flow and is great with kids and other dogs … how can you not fall in love with this adorable boy? The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $250, which includes their spay/neuter, microchipping, all necessary vaccinations, worming and any additional treatments (including heartworm, if necessary) and one month of pet insurance.
