Meet Otis, an adorable lop mix available for adoption at IndyCLAW Rescue! Otis was found as a stray, running loose in Beech Grove before he was caught and brought to the rescue. Otis is a medium-sized boy at approximately eight pounds and, due to being found as a stray, his age is estimated at around four years old. Otis has a condition called cherry eye, which will require him to have eye drops twice each day for the rest of his life, but he doesn’t let his condition take away from his sweet personality! This bunny is so deserving of his very own forever family, so hop on over to IndyCLAW and fall in love with this sweet honey bun! Otis’s adoption fee is $60, but if you want double the fun, adopt two and it’s $100 for the pair! For more information on Otis, please visit IndyCLAW‘s website or email adopt@indyclaw.org … visits are by appointment only.
Otis is …
– an absolute honey bun who enjoys attention and cuddles!
– litter-box trained.
– neutered.
Otis is special needs because …
– he has a condition called cherry eye, which will require eye drops twice each day for the rest of his life. If left untreated, it can lead to dry eye or, in severe cases, require surgery, though Otis’s condition has been well-managed with the drops.
*I have a link to IndyCLAW’s rabbit adoption information page. It has tons of great information and things you need to consider before adopting a rabbit and giving it a forever home. Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
