Meet Leia, a confident one year-old Pointer/Labrador mix available for adoption through the ARK Fostercare Program! Poor Leia (along with her pal, Chloe) were surrendered to a high-kill shelter when their owner could no longer afford to care for them, so ARK came to the rescue! Leia is confident, affectionate and loves to talk, so if you’re looking for a sweet and chatty friend (and also want to bring home her friend, Chloe) check out the ARK’s adoption process. The adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $250, which includes their spay/neuter, microchipping, all necessary vaccinations, worming and any additional treatments (including heartworm, if necessary) and one month of pet insurance.
