Meet Brody, an adorable seven month-old Labrador/Pit Bull mix available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Brody was relinquished to the shelter by his owner because he just wasn’t able to give this sweet boy the time he deserved … puppies need a lot of time, attention, exercise and training! Brody is a well-rounded pup who is already housebroken and does well with cats, other dogs and the children who love to volunteer at the shelter. He’s a rambunctious boy who would greatly benefit from a forever family that could take the time to train him on good doggy manners, but his big brown eyes and happy smile would make it all worth it! Are you Brody’s forever home? Brody’s adoption fee is $95, which covers his mandatory neuter surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations, wormer, Home Again microchip and registration. Anyone interested in Brody, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if there are other pets in the home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Brody home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at cbrowder@cityofshelbyvillein.com or call at (317) 392-5127. (Also, due to Brody being part Pit Bull, it’s very important to either own your home or have written permission from your landlord!)
Brody is …
– a sweet and rambunctious boy who would greatly benefit from a forever family that has the time and patience to train and work with him on his doggy manners.
– good with children, cats and other dogs (but please keep in mind his young age … he can play a bit rough!).
– housebroken.
