Meet Lotus! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Lotus, a shy one year-old Lionhead female available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Lotus was found as a stray after being dumped by her family and was left to fend for herself outdoors for months before neighbors contacted IHRS. After being caught and brought to the rescue, Lotus seemed confused about indoor comforts before she starting warming up to volunteers and blossoming (just like the flower for which she was named)! Lotus is a cautious girl who will need a patient home (possibly someone with prior bunny experience), but she’s more than ready to find her forever home! Look at that face … don’t you want to bring this adorable fluffball home to be a part of your family? If you want Lotus to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Lotus’s adoption fee is $65 (which helps cover her spay surgery) and she’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and her veterinary history.

Lotus is …
– a shy and cautious girl who would benefit from patient home with prior rabbit experience.
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.

I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website!
