Meet Peanut, a shy one year-old tabby available for adoption at the Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter! Poor Peanut was surrendered by her owner on August 5th (the owner lost her apartment and had to move back in with her folks, who didn’t allow Peanut to come along) and this sweet girl is still trying to get used to her new surroundings. She’s a shy girl, but an absolute doll that will come to greet you when she hears her name and she’s great with people and animals alike! Peanuts go with anything, so don’t you think she belongs with you? Peanut’s adoption fee is $30, which covers her spay surgery, rabies/booster vaccinations and wormer. Anyone interested in Peanut, please check the link above for hours of operation and adoption requirements (meet and greets are a must, especially if there are other pets in the home!). Once your application has been approved, you get to take Peanut home that day! Any additional questions, please email Chris Browder at firstname.lastname@example.org or call at (317) 392-5127.
