Meet Celeste! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Celeste, a sweet and smart four year-old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix available for adoption at the Madison County Humane Society! This poor girl was left in a small crate outside the front door of the shelter overnight and found in the morning, scared and confused, but it didn’t take away from her sweet nature. She’s incredibly smart, knowing “sit”, “stay” and “down”, and is also both housebroken and crate-trained. She’s not a huge fan of cats or other dogs, but once she’s found The One (as in her human soulmate) she’ll be a best friend for life. Do you have room in your life and heart to give Celeste her forever home? If you’re interested in Celeste, please fill out the adoption application on the shelter’s website and email it to madisoncohumanesoc@sbcglobal.net and/or call (765) 644-6484 with any questions. Meet-and-greets with both human and other animal family members are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved (please check the link above for the shelter’s hours of operations); adoptions are not made on a “first come, first serve” basis, but instead attempts are made to make the best fit for both the family AND the animal! Celeste’s adoption fee is $125 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, dewormer and 30 days of pet health insurance.

Celeste is …
– very smart and loving and knows a few basic commands already (so you can only imagine the potential to learn more!).
– best in a home where she is the only pet.
– housebroken.
– crate-trained.
– spayed.
– up-to-date on her vaccinations.
