Meet Lofte, a sassy five year-old English Spot rabbit available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Lofte (which means “promise” in Swedish) was found abandoned by the side of the road in a filthy cage, starving and missing all the fur on her belly. Lofte was fortunate to end up at the rescue and with the help of her foster family she has gained weight and all her fur has grown back! Lofte is definitely a girl who knows what she likes and isn’t afraid to show you in her special bunny way if something is wrong, so she would do best in a home with a family that speaks fluent bunny. Are you the forever home that can promise to give Lofte a good and loving life? If you want Lofte to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Lofte’s adoption fee is $100 (which helps cover her spay surgery) and she’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and her veterinary history.
Lofte is …
– a big girl at 10 pounds who loves to be petted, but has a strong personality and loves to dig and chew and will need supervision and enrichment.
– best in a home with experienced rabbit owners, without children and as the only rabbit.
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.
– fully vaccinated against RHDV2.
*I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website! Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
