Meet Jefferson, a loving two-and-a-half year-old American Bulldog mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Jefferson is the absolute sweetest dog and he LOVES being with people all the time! One of Jefferson’s favorite games is to run and chase you and because he’s such a strong boy he will need an active forever family that can meet his needs for mental and physical stimulation. Although Jefferson has been friendly with everyone he meets and has seemed interested in the other dogs at the shelter, he’s untested with children and other animals and meet-and-greets with all potential forever family members (furry and human) are a must! How can you resist this sweet, loving and perfect boy? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Jefferson’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
