Meet Tucker, a chatty seven year-old hound mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Tucker is a very typical hound in that he is a happy boy who enjoys exploring outdoors, sniffing all the smells and telling you all about it (hounds are notorious for being talkative and Tucker is no exception!). Tucker also enjoys playing with toys (playing tug with his rope toys is his favorite) and when he’s Tucker-ed out he’ll come sit by his people for pets. Although Tucker has been friendly with everyone he meets so far, he’s untested with children and other animals and meet-and-greets with all potential forever family members (furry and human) are a must! Are you the perfect forever family for this chatty and happy boy? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Tucker’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
