Meet Myia, a friendly five year-old Tree Walker Hound mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Myia is a very typical hound in that she is a happy girl who enjoys exploring outdoors, sniffing all the smells and taking petting breaks between adventures! Although Myia is untested with children and other animals, she seems very interested in the other dogs at the shelter and could do well with another doggy friend in her forever home (but meet-and-greets with all potential forever family members, furry and human, are a must!). Are you the adventurous forever home that would be the perfect fit for Myia? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Myia’s adoption fee is $150, which covers her vaccinations, spay surgery and microchip registration.
