Meet Boomer, a playful one year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Boomer is such a handsome boy (check out that purple tongue!) and enjoys meeting new people, although he can be a bit hesitant with men at first. Once given the time and space to warm up, Boomer is all smiles and energy and his favorite games are tug and fetch. Boomer would greatly benefit from a home that can keep him both physically and mentally stimulated and an active forever family! Boomer is untested with children and other animals, so meet-and-greets with all family members (furry and human) are a must! How can you resist Boomer’s sweet and goofy smile? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Boomer’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
