Meet Lorenzo, a shy one year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Lorenzo can be very timid when meeting new people in new situations, but once he’s had time and space he warms up and is a goofy boy! Lorenzo loves running and playing with squeaky toys and once he’s finished playing he loves to lay next to his people for lots of snuggles and naps. Although Lorenzo is untested with children and other animals, he has been very interested in the other dogs at the shelter and could potentially enjoy another dog in his future forever home (but a meet-and-greet with ALL family members is a must!). How can you resist that smile? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Lorenzo’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
