Meet Mac, a playful eight month-old Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Mac has been an energetic and happy boy at the shelter and LOVES to play with toys, especially if they squeak! Mac loves to be active and go exploring (he’ll need a forever family that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated), but he does love time with his people and likes to get in your lap for cuddles! Although Mac is a friendly boy, he is untested with children and other animals and meet-and-greets with all family members, furry and human, are a must! If you’re in need of a running buddy and you feel like you’re the forever family to keep up with him, Mac is your boy! All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Mac’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
