Meet Clampett, a friendly eight year-old Coonhound mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Clampett came to the shelter with some type of visual impairment, but it doesn’t stop him from being the friendliest boy you could ever meet! Clampett is unsure when entering new places and new situations, but quickly warms up and gains his confidence and owns the room! Clampett also loves exploring outside and being with his people for cuddling, so he’ll need a forever family that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated. This happy-go-lucky boy is untested with children and other animals, but he seems very interested in the other dogs at the shelter and could potentially do well with another doggy friend in his forever home (but meet-and-greets are a must!). Are you the perfect forever family for this sweet and happy boy? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Clampett’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
