Meet Kiwi, a shy one year-old Dutch mixed rabbit available for adoption through the Indiana House Rabbit Society! Kiwi was found abandoned in a park in northern Indiana, but fortunately, a Good Samaritan brought her to the shelter and she was lucky enough to end up at IHRS! Kiwi is still pretty shy and is learning litterbox habits and the joy of being a spoiled house bun, but she’s a quick learner that humans can be kind (and they might have food!). Kiwi will need a patient forever family that can help her continue adjusting to home life, but this sweet girl is worth it! If you want Kiwi to be a part of your forever family, please fill out the adoption questionnaire and check the link on adopting a rabbit from the Indiana House Rabbit Society. Kiwi’s adoption fee is $100 (which helps cover her spay surgery) and she’ll come home with a small bag of hay, a small bag of pellets and her veterinary history.
Kiwi is …
– a shy girl who is still getting used to the spoiled house bun life!
– litter-box trained.
– spayed.
– fully vaccinated against RHDV2.
*I’ve included a link on keeping rabbits as pets from the Indiana House Rabbit Society … there’s tons of great information on their website! Please read this information thoroughly, especially if you are looking to adopt your first bunny! I personally have adopted from this rescue and it was such a wonderful experience!*
