Meet Vicente, a sweet three year-old Siberian Husky available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Vicente is a bit of an atypical Husky because he’s a pretty mellow boy that doesn’t get ruffled by much at the shelter! Vicente wants to be with his people as much as possible and walks nicely on a leash … he has such good manners! Although he seems to love everyone, Vicente is untested with children and other animals (Huskies are known to not care for cats, so if you have a feline-friendly home, keep that in mind!) and meet-and-greets with all family members is a must. All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Vicente’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
