Meet Newton, a silly 11 month-old Shepherd/Boxer mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Newton has been such a sweet and happy boy at the shelter and LOVES to play with toys, especially putting them in a pile like a stash of treasure! Newton loves to be active and goofy (he’ll need a forever family that can keep him mentally and physically stimulated!), but once he’s done he’s happiest cuddling with his people and adores treats and pets. Although Newton is a friendly boy, he is untested with children and other animals and meet-and-greets with all family members, furry and human, are a must! If you’re in need of some laughs and love and you feel like you’re the forever family to keep up with him, Newton is your boy! All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Newton’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
