Meet Fayra, a sweet one year-old Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Fayra was a very timid girl when she first came to the shelter and it has taken time and patience for her to warm up to the shelter staff. Fayra is happiest being outside, taking the time to smell the world around her, but she’s still figuring out that when she plays fetch with toys she needs to bring them back! Fayra is untested with children and other animals, so a meet-and-greet with all family members, furry and non-, are a must! Are you the patient and loving forever home where Fayra can be cherished and gain the confidence she deserves? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Fayra’s adoption fee is $150, which covers her vaccinations, spay surgery and microchip registration.
