Meet Chet, a playful one-and-a-half year-old Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Chet has been such a sweet and happy boy at the shelter and LOVES to play with toys, especially the squeaky ones! Chet loves to play fetch and be silly, but once he’s done he’s happiest cuddling and chilling with his people and adores treats and pets! Although Chet is untested with children and other animals, he’s been very interested in the other dogs at the shelter and could potentially do well with another doggy friend in his forever home (though meet-and-greets with all family members, furry and human, are a must!). If you’re in the mood for a good ol’ boy that loves to play and cuddle, Chet is your dog! All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Chet’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
