Meet Sir, a playful one year-old Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Sir came into the shelter with a leg/hip deformity and although it’s assumed he was born this way, the shelter doesn’t know for sure. Although this issue doesn’t slow him down in the least, Sir will need x-rays once he finds his forever home to ensure that he is receiving the proper care for his condition and to be proactive as he ages. Sir isn’t too terribly interested in toys, all he wants is to snuggle with his people (he’s quite the cuddle bug at the shelter!). Sir is untested with children and other animals, so a meet-and-greet with all potential family members (furry and human) is a must! If you want a handsome and proper gentleman to join your home, Sir is definitely your boy! All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Sir’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
