Meet Hermes, a goofy eight month-old German Shepherd available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Hermes has been a happy-go-lucky and playful boy since arriving at the shelter and he LOVES meeting new people! One of Hermes’s favorite things to do is to gather all the toys he can find and put them in a pile (who wouldn’t want a dog that cleans up after itself?), all he needs is a forever playmate! Hermes is untested with children and other animals, so a meet-and-greet with all family members (furry and human) is a must! Hermes was the god of thieves … can this handsome boy steal your heart and become a part of your forever family? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Hermes’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
