Meet Clark Kent, a playful two year-old Akita/Pit Bull Terrier mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Clark was pretty shy when he first came to the shelter (especially with men), but warmed up more quickly with women and wanted all the cuddles and playtime possible! Clark loves to run around with his toys in his mouth and then lay down to rest or snuggle with his people, but it’s uncertain how he is with children or other animals. Do you need Superman in your life? If your family is looking to add a super sweet superhero to your home, Clark Kent is your boy! All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Clark Kent’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
