Meet Ajax, a curious two-and-a-half year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Ajax has been a relaxed and happy girl since her arrival at the shelter and gets along well with everyone she meets! This happy girl loves to play and explore, but she likes to check in frequently for treats and pets with her people. Although she’s happy doing her own thing and simply enjoy her surroundings, she’s not stand-offish and still loves to be loved. Ajax is untested with children and other animals, although she seems interested in the other dogs at the shelter and could potentially do well with another dog in the home, but meet-and-greets with all family members (furry and human) are a must! All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Ajax’s adoption fee is $150, which covers her vaccinations, spay surgery and microchip registration.
