Meet Millie, a fetching six year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Millie was surrendered to the shelter when she was startled and accidentally bit the six year-old that lived in the home, so her next home will need to be without small children. Millie is a sweet girl who enjoys exploring, playing fetch, running, swimming and taking long walks with her people … she just wants to stay busy! Millie is both crate- and housetrained and did well with both the cats and other dog in her previous home, but a meet-and-greet with all family members (furry and human) is a must! Are you the forever home where Millie can live life to the fullest and be loved for her unique self? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Millie’s adoption fee is $150, which covers her vaccinations, spay surgery and microchip registration.
