Meet Fuego! *UPDATE: ADOPTED!!!*

Meet Fuego, a playful one year-old Cattle Dog/Great Pyrenees mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Fuego thought he’d found his forever home when he was adopted from the shelter two months ago, but he was returned due to his owner’s failing health and is hoping his next home is going to be The One! Fuego is an energetic boy with lots of sweet playfulness and he will need his new family to give him plenty of time and space to stay physically and mentally stimulated. Fuego is housebroken and does well with cats, but he really loved the other dog in the home and would greatly benefit from another canine companion in his forever home. Look at that sweet face … how can it not light a fire in your heart and make you want to take Fuego home? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Fuego’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.

Fuego is …
– a very sweet and energetic boy that will need a forever family to keep him active and both physically and mentally stimulated.
– good with cats and other dogs, untested with children and other animals.
– housebroken.
– neutered.
– up-to-date on his vaccinations.
