Meet Auggie!

Meet Auggie, a playful three year-old Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Auggie was surrendered to the shelter because he wasn’t getting along with the other dog in the home, though he doesn’t seem to mind the other dogs at the shelter. His former owners said that Auggie loves to run, climb, explore and play in the water, though he’s also perfectly happy laying at your feet and chilling. Auggie is housebroken, crate-trained and though he’s been friendly with other dogs at the shelter, he’s untested with children and other animals and it’s believed he would do better in a home with older children. Are you the perfect forever family for this sweet and happy boy? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Auggie’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
