Meet Lenny, a playful seven month-old Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Lenny was brought to the shelter when his owners could no longer care for him, but it hasn’t dimmed the spark in this energetic boy! This happy boy has been nicknamed “Leaping Lenny” because he loves to play with toys and toss them in the air to catch (his squeaky chicken is his favorite)! Lenny is housebroken, and though he’s been friendly with other dogs at the shelter, he’s untested with children and other animals. Are you the perfect forever family for this sweet and happy boy? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Lenny’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
