Meet Otis, a loving 10 month-old domestic shorthair cat available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Otis was brought into the shelter when his owner’s health began to decline and he can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up he’s all about the affection! Otis loves to play with toys and get all the petting you’re willing to give, but he would do better in a quiet home where he can slowly get used to his new environment. Although Otis is untested with children and other animals, he was brought in with another cat and would likely do well with another feline friend in the home. All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Otis’s adoption fee is $50, which covers his vaccinations and neuter surgery.
