Meet Captain, a goofy one year-old German Shepherd mix available at the Johnson County Animal Shelter! Captain is such a friendly boy and gets along with everyone he meets! Captain loves to play and can be such a goofball, nothing seems to bother him. Although Captain is untested with children and other animals, he enjoys the company of the other dogs at the shelter and would probably benefit from another doggy friend at his forever home. What better way to commemorate Memorial Day than to bring home and celebrate your very own Captain? All adoptions are done with approved applicants by appointment only and once you fill out the adoption application, the shelter will contact you to set up an appointment and meet the pet. Captain’s adoption fee is $150, which covers his vaccinations, neuter surgery and microchip registration.
